About me: Ideally, I like excellent recordings of great shows - that's what I'm after. :) That said, I think excellent recordings can take many forms. I like good AUD recordings, not just SBDs; Betty Boards often blow my mind, as can a nice Wise AUD. Lately I've been enjoying '69, '78-'82, '84, and '89. I burn TDK discs. Generally I'm only trading SHN, but will trade for CDR if a show doesn't ciruclate as SHN in the etree db. If you're sending CDR's, please EAC to extract before burning. I only archive SHN these days so CDR lineage from me will be SHN->WAV->CDR. My main request: Please tell me about the shows you're burning. Don't match the db? Missing tracks? Diginoise? Splices, dropouts, other recording issues? I like knowing they're there up front. I no longer use fiber mailers at all. I'll send recycled bubble mailers if I have them, or new ones if I don't, but no more fiber ones - nobody wants them. I ship discs in CaseLogic (or equivalent) plastic sleeves - I don't send jewel cases and don't want them. I like to label the outside of the sleeve with a little sticker or sticky note - I don't write on the discs, and ask that I don't receive writing on the discs either. Enough detail.
