I'm a pretty active trader right now and always looking for high quality recordings of new things. I'm particularly looking for great sounding jazz, bluegrass, or reggae recordings. I prefer SHN FTP trades if possible (I have 1.1Mbit SDSL and my own server). If you're just starting out, I'll probably do a B&P for you, but please ask nicely and read the FAQs first.
I burn from etree shns where available (archived, no EAC/DAE) to quality CD-Rs (currently Mitsui Silver OEM), use EAC for CD copies otherwise. Bubble mailers, tyvek cd envelopes, no labeling or filler unless requested. Please let me know if you want otherwise. I'm pretty flexible with what I get - its all about the music! I'd like a decent quality CD-R, DAO, no filler, bubble mailers, and no labeling (thanks).
Sound ratings are my own (subjective) and I tend to be a stickler about quality. Typically an "A" is a very good SBD mix (or great AUD), "B" a decent AUD (reasonable bass, prominent vocals, and not too much crowd noise), and "C" a reasonable but compressed AUD with a bit too much crowd noise. I'm really not interested in poor quality recordings. I try to rate performances similarly.
[HR] Indicates a show I highly recommended (very good quality recording, performance, and/or significant show).
