I had seen Jason earlier this year in the Paradiso in Amsterdam. It was difficult to equal that
show, but he did, it was even better.
My feelings towards this hall are always a bit ambigious: I like the hall as such, its architecture
and its atmosphere (it looks like a huge operating theatre, as also Jason remarked) plus the fact
that it holds many good memories, the fondest seeing Guy Clark there and Chris Gaffney.
However I'm not fond of the sound, but this show it sounded fine. I guess Jason had brought
his own sound engineer. Also where I was seated (high on one of the rows which surround the stage)
the soud was fine. It was not my first choice, but as my preferred rows were already occupied I
tried to get as close to the soundboard as possible.
