Shaazbot. Naanu, Naanu.
I hope this finds you well, things have finally returned to as-normal-as-can-be-expected here. I'm presently olny seeking .shn and .flac files that match the etree database, unless no db entry exists. In that case, anything goes. I've had some trouble with this lately, so keep this in mind: If you find that for some reason a show I have requested is in your possession in AUDIO format only (or non-etree matching .shn files), let me know. I can find something else. Nothing (well, almost nothing) pisses me off more than waiting a week for a trade to come in only to find that I have just recieved a DVD full of .wav data. I won't do this to you, please don't do it to me. I'm pretty reasonable, we can work something out. Everyone (me included) spaces a disc or mis-labels something from time to time, don't let that ruin a trading relationship. COMMUNICATION IS VITAL.
I use only quality media, and ask that you do the same. I use Fuji-branded Taiyo Yuden CDRs (look for the frosted inner ring and the MADE IN JAPAN label) almost exclusively, if I can't get my hands on them I will use Verbatims. I Use Verbatim or Japanese-manufactured SONY DVD media most of the time, if you have any preferences LMK and I'll work with you.  I use CaseLogic style sleeves most of the time, and Duck brand bubble mailers.
I'm not real picky about disc counts. If your selections come up to 5 discs and mine only come up to 4, oh well. We aren't dealing with a pop here after all, are we.
My main interests at this time are 72-74 GD, SCI, and Steve Kimock projects. I am always open to other possibilities though, so don't be afraid to ask.
I LOVE spreading the tunes and do so actively on the E-trade mailing list and at AlsoVineZarathustra.org. If you know of any groups that are kicking around major tunes, hook a brother up. I'm always looking for new playgrounds.

BnP Guidelines:
I have been having a lot of trouble with BnP deals lately. I will almost always do a BnP for you, just ask. There are, however, a few things you must do properly or you will recieve blank discs back in the mail:
If you have requested AUDIO FORMAT for your BnP, you MUST include a note reminding me of this in your package, or else you will most likely recieve lossless audio files in the mail. I do not have the time to search endlessly through my e-mail inbox searching for details of what YOU want. This is YOUR responsibility.
I don't mind doing audio BnP's, but keep in mind that they are quite time consuming. With lossless files, I can check an md5 in 15 seconds and know the package is good. I have to listen to audio discs to make sure I am sending you a quality disc, and sometimes what you want isn't what I want to listen to right now. With this in mind, I am going to put a 2 show limit on Audio BnPs. If this makes you unhappy, I can always send you a copy of mkwACT and the FLAC frontend on a data disc with your lossless files. This will enable you to BnP more shows and also enable you to TRADE them in the future, maybe helping you out of the BnP scenario altogether.
BnP requests should be for Trade-Friendly bands only. I am not Tower Records. If you want to TRADE for some of the misc stuff that is on my list, that is another story. Lately I have had several folks send me BnPs where no trade friendly bands were involved. While they got some great tunes, they did nothing as far as getting themselves in a position where they don't have to rely solely on BnP for their musical needs. I hate to be a dick, but I'm going to have to be one none the less. BnP some Dead, Mule, and Cheese (to name a few), and we can talk about Frank Sinatra and the Rolling Stones later, maybe.
With that said, I'm really easy to get along with. Hit me up and I'll hook you up. I love spreading the tunes, and would love to spread some your way.
Peace Love and Granola
