Basic practices: 1) I use Japanese cdr media (usually TY) and expect the same in return. 2) I write audio discs DAO; please do the same. 3) I prefer to receive shn/flac discs but will also take cdr audio, and can provide material in any of these forms. All of my shows are archived as shns or flacs; when transferring from cd I use EAC in secure mode. 5) When sending shn/flac discs I include all info/artwork on the disc itself; when sending audio discs, I can email setlists etc. if you request them. 6) Unless asked to do otherwise, I provide unmarked discs in paper sleeves with brief identifying info on a slip of paper in the sleeve; please do the same. 7) I am flexible. If you want things done in a certain way or for some reason can't comply with my preferences, let me know and we'll work something out.

In my list, the media number refers to the number of audio discs (or dvdrs), and I use this number as the basis for trades. I am particularly interested in Miles Davis shows that I don't have. I have a number of these listed in my want list and will add more as time goes on. If you have a Miles show that doesn't appear in my Miles list, I will undoubtedly be interested. The same also goes for Coltrane and Mingus. I have a few DVDs and VCDs for trade but the VCDs are generally in PAL format. I prefer to trade video for video, but will also trade video for audio. VCDs count as one cdr; I prefer to send just the raw mpeg. I've seen traders count dvds as anywhere from 4 to 8 cds. I'm shifting this range downward to 2 to 6 cds (with 4 as the most likely number), depending on how interested I am in what you have to trade.
