* I trade only CD-Rs these days. I'm looking really only for high quality, complete shows which are from a digital (i.e. DAT) source. No analog generations, and no shows created from MP3 or other "lossy" compressed files!! (Exceptions are if DAT sources are unavailable, as with earlier shows, then cassette masters from the soundboard are an acceptable source.) * I'm looking for CD-Rs that are mastered with DAO (disc at once)-- not TAO (track at once). TAO has the annoying two-second pauses between tracks. All my shows are DAO except for the rare exception, as noted on my list. * I copy my CD-Rs by way of a program called EAC (Exact Audio Copy). You should, too. EAC will take longer, but it ensures an exact clone of the disk. Other copy methods are prone to leaving pops, skips, and diginoise on the "copy."
