PEACE, everybody.
I welcome trades for Dylan, especially 1960s Dylan.
Traditional CD-R trades. I accept SHIN and flac if you transfer them into real-time seamless CD-R tracks with a good strong signal.Absolutely NO mp3's. No tao or "repaired" breaks.
I burn at 4x on good quality media and I expect the same. I've had to throw out almost my entire Dylan collection at one time because of the defects that arise from cheap, generic media and high-speed extracts / burns. Don't send me ultra-high-speed burns that will deteriorate into digital noise. Don't send me cheap or generic brands like Durabrand, Kodak, Memorex, Nashua. Use the better Japanese brands like Sony, TDK, Tayo Yuden, etc.Â
I list DVD-R's to keep track of them, not to trade. My PC doesn't have a DVD burner. On my stand-alone burner, the quality loss is so great it's not worth copying.
Paper sleeves, bubble mailer, First Class Mail. The post office provides Priority Mail cartons that work well for large trades. Airpost to Europe.
Sound Quality Ratings: subjective. I judge sound according to the Analog Era scale, when most of these shows were recorded. Also, I like the sound of audience tapes more than most people. My ears are attuned to audience tapes. As for the digital era, even distant recordings sound good to me if recorded digitally.

Enjoy the music, and thanks for trading.
