************************************ Regarding errors on recordings***********************************
I do not have time to listen to all these shows and therefore, I cannot note every error on the copies I have. If I send you something and it winds up with a bunch of dropouts or static, I apologize for that but sometimes they are on the copy I obtain from someone else. Whatever the case, if the same errors are present on my copy, I can't do much to help and we can only assume that it was a taper error. Otherwise if you report an error that is not on my recording, I will definitely replace the disc for you. Check my comments section for each date, I've been going through my shows lately and noting the bad positions, I'm actually almost through the bulk of my collection so I'm starting to weed out any bad recordings and getting replacements for them. ************************************
1. No show for show or 2:1, I trade disc for disc. One VHS tape gets two discs from me and vice versa.
2. JAPANESE Fuji, Tayo Yuden, Maxell and good quality CDRs only. No NON-JAPANESE Maxell, Imation, TDK, Memorex, or generic media.
3. Will not accept recordings from MP3s.
4. When I do audio copies, I use Roxio Toast. Rip in as WAV, burn out at max speed in a Toshiba DVD-ROM/CDR combo drive.
5. If the stuff you send me has errors, I won't bother sending it back, I simply expect you to resend the stuff to me and I will do the same if I send you discs with errors that happen due to my own fault. What's the point of wasting more postage? I do mild testing before I send your discs meaning that I play them for about 5 minutes or so. I ALWAYS test VCDs for at least 5 minutes and sometimes longer. If you get a VCD that doesn't play for you, it's not my copying method, it's your player. KNOW if your equipment can handle the format before you ask me for VCD or SVCD.
6. Also, if you approach me for a trade and we have not traded before, please expect to send your end first. Everyone's heard it before, it's nothing personal, but I don't intend to be burnt in a trade again. If you don't like this rule, I'm sorry, but it's how I do business. And if you're paranoid (like me) take a look at all those shows down there. Do you think that I could've built up a collection like that by stealing from people? Whether you're a veteran or a youngun, if you approach me first, expect to send first. Otherwise, take your business elsewhere.
7. Sadly, I do not archive the original SHNs from the shows that you see here. I will do SHN trades but I can only rip the audio off the discs and convert them to SHN (which doesn't help you too much). However, I will accept SHN discs for audio discs (meaning you send SHN discs and I send you audio discs) and vice versa.
8. When you label the disc, you may do so on the inner ring of the disc. To clarify, I will write the show information on the inner ring of the discs I make for you using a Sharpie fine point marker or other felt tip.? I will also label the disc sleeve, you may do the same.
