Welcome to MattMan's audio list. Click here for my Video List.

If I don't respond immediately, please don't take it personally as I am very busy this time of year.??

If possible, I would rather conduct all trades via my ftp server.

But if you cannot ftp trade, do not hesitate to contact for me a trade or BnP, but please confirm that you can do the following, I will do the same: 1. Check with me on the type of media you will send. 2. All data trades (shn, flac, mpeg, etc.) include matching md5 signatures that are confirmed on your end before you send. 3. Audio trades are extracted on your end using EAC or similar.

Now, on to my rambles: Legend: FLAC or SHN = data file set; CD-R = audio disk; SHN Detail = link to original text file and MD5 signatures--present if my CD-R has linked source.

B&P's (may be available) for SHN data and CD-R audio. Please read this primer if necessary: B&P Instructions

All shows on this list are of quality that I find acceptable (unless noted otherwise).

I am currently using "Quality" CD-R media: Acceptable Media. For more information on FLAC data, see: FLAC primer. For more information on SHN data, see: SHN Primer. SHN data can be burned as CD-R audio if necessary; but trading SHN data typically requires less media and is preferred by many traders. I use EAC for making digital audio extractions of CD-R audio sources, and I hope you will do the same if we set up a trade that includes CD-R audio sources. If possible, use a reference disc to set the offets for your eac extraction (Setting Offsets in EAC). I use Sony Internal DVD RW DRU 530-A and an Iomega Predator external CD-RW drive with Feurio for burning audio CD-Rs Disk-at-Once (DAO), and Sonic Record Now and Roxio Easy CD Creator for burning data.

For the newcomer: I like traded disks unlabeled (except for the inner circle where you can identify the disk if you want), in sleeves. I'll communicate throughout the trade via email--you do the same.

"Let there be songs to fill the air" R.H.

Finally, have fun, and don't sweat the small stuff!!! I have conducted more than my share of trades with uptight paranoid psychopathic shnaddicts and if you fall into that category of trader, don't bother.

Cheers,

MattMan
