The sound was pretty muddy on the floor and the bass roll-off help immensely but being the first time using it I definately overdid it so the left channel sounds flat from the lack of bass but the recording is clear as a bell. The recording was mastered to balance the channels out using phase correction since the mics are unbalanced(I tried gaining the left and right channels differently during the opening act to balance them but the recording still came out unbalanced even though the level meters said they were pretty much the same) and added a touch of bass back into the left channel to counteract the flat sound. The performance was really good and loud(my ears were still ringing the next day). |
