Note | Nice recording, considering it was done outdoors, although the show starts out at a higher volume, which descends during Sonic Reducer, and returns to that for a couple of seconds during Why Go. Other than that, this is a great set as always, and tiny clicks between tracks and one small spot of buried chatter are the only real distractions from the awesomeness. |

Comment | During Ice Cube's set, a very loud version of 'Hunger Strike' is heard coming from the parking lot. Actually, it is coming from the Lollapalooza side stage, where Ed and Chris Cornell are jamming to a very lucky (but steadily growing) crowd! They play 'Hunger Strike,' 'Seasons,' 'Throw Your Arms Around Me' and a new song by Chris Cornell (off the forthcoming Soundgarden LP; possibly 'Like Suicide') and a few others. |
