(2) Iko Iko is sung as part of Not Fade Away - no transition exists between songs and one could argue NFA is 12:51 with lyrics to Iko Iko sung at the beginning (much like Who Do You Love appeared in versions of Caution in 1972). "Thanks to the esteemed Mr. Minches, we now have available Set 1 and Set 2 through the cut in Ship of Fools in very good quality-I'd guess one or two gens, but no more. I'd love to hear the rest of the show in as good quality, particularly the truly excellent UJB encore, but until another source emerges this will have to do. This upgraded portion beats the pants off what circ'd previously. The rest of Ship>End of Show is provided in the same somewhat degraded soundboard as previously circulated; for some reason, I was able to pull a complete Ship together from the two sources, which raises more questions than I can answer...the beginning of Lazy Lightnin' remains screwed up, and the end of Dancin' cuts. No lineages for any of this are known, notwithstanding that some folks have taken liberties with the earlier-circulating degraded source and alleged it to be SBDMR>C>DAT>CD |
