To my ears Mingus plays in the first set (also the piano) but not in the second. In the second set at The Discoteca Esplanade the bassist to me is NHOP only - while I seem to hear Mingus' voice in the audience. Only Perdido, in the second set, features the full orchestra the other tracks are trios or quartets with a tenor (maybe Webster).
