This is a landmark Java Joe's show as it was his first show back
after recording his debut album "Waiting For My Rocket To Come".
Many of the new songs on that record were debuted during this show!

Accidentally recorded as 12 bit audio (cut us some slack, it was our
first recording! :). However, after some post-processing, we were
able to improve the sound quality and now it sounds pretty good.

Notes:
Playing back at his old regular venue, Java Joes, Jason did an amazing 
set to his home town regulars. Up until last may, Jason played every 
thursday at Java Joes for about three years. Last may, he stoped to go 
record his major label debut on Elektra records. He will be opening for 
Jewel during her summer tour, and he will also be playing on a side 
stage at the three Dave Matthews Band shows in Seattle at the Gorge.
His major label debut album comes out October 15, 2002.
Also, acording to Jason, this day was the first day he did not 
wear a hat from the second he woke up, as he normally does.

Playing a sold-out crowd at the Belly Up, Jason played a large batch of hits new 
and old, and celebrated the release of his Elektra label debut album 
"Waiting For My Rocket To Come", released the day before this show. 
The polished show was amazing, and many old mraz-ers commented that even 
though they had been to hundreds of shows, this one ranked up there in the top three.
