Notes: My first tape with the C1000s, a house concert run by Greg Pool
       and Juliet Breckenridge in scenic Pacific Grove.  Peter had a
       vocal mic and his guitar pickup plugged into a small amp, the
       mics were set up on a tabletop stand on the floor about 8" away
       in X/Y (90 degrees) config.  The dynamic range of the
       recording is kinda all over the place; I left it as it is
       rather than trying to compress after-the-fact.

Notes: The sound man for this show was having some trouble controlling
       the room, which of course comes out on the tape perfectly.  He
       kept playing with the amount of reverb (most notably when he
       slams the setting from "too much" to "none" about eight minutes
       into the set) and there were a few feedback-related issues
       which even Peter commented on, in track 9.  The show itself is
       in mono, and I didn't try to add separation due to the
       inconsistent amount of reverb coming from the board (and my
       general aversion to over-editing).

Notes: Intimate concert in a former sugar cane factory that had been
       converted to an office of sorts with seven-foot-high false
       walls.  The mics were actally set up above and behind the
       "back" wall of the venue, about a foot above and eight inches
       or so behind the top of the false wall at the back of the
       seating area.  

       The rear-of-the-room recording led to very loud applause, so
       the entire show was run through 4:1 compression above -16dB
       before being normalized.  The unedited (and therefore extremely
       quiet) show is available upon request.

       The show requires a single 80 minute CDR when burned as audio.

Notes: The microphones were attached to a gooseneck that has been
       fixed in the ceiling at Henfling's, about ten feet away from
       the center speaker above the stage, about 18" from the ceiling
       and 6-8" in front of a wall that descends about two feet from
       the ceiling.  The "rear" wall (behind the gooseneck) is
       wood-paneled and covered with framed (in wood and glass)
       pictures of artists that have performed at Henflings.

       The show was a co-bill with Emory Joseph.  Peter and Goody did
       the late set, which was supposed to go an hour but went a
       little longer.  During "Comes Love" and "Every Mother's Son"
       the vox input to the soundboard appeared to be overdriven a
       few times, resulting in unpleasant noise over the main
       speakers.  Overall the sound of the show is a little muddy to
       my ears.
