Comments:

Benefit for Artists Rights Today. This was the first appearance of the Jerry Garcia Acoustic Band. Also on the bill: Country Joe, Merle Saunders, John Cipollina and Problem Child, Nick Gravenites and Animal Mind, Maria Muldaur and Her Amazing Band, and Sal Valentino.


Notes:

- John recently sent me his transfer of the tracks not in circulation at 24/96.  He has been unable to find tape 1 so we decided to ask Rob if we could borrow his tape so that we would have a hi-res version of the show. He agreed and sent it to John to do the transfer.
- DC Offset removed.
- Pitch adjustments.
- Level adjustments made
- I removed a number of rustling noises which were possibly caused as a result of the mics rubbing against John's sweatshirt.
- Both cuts in Set I have been spliced together to give a better flow of the music.
- Several tape pauses have been smoothed out.
