Woodstock Complete - Bootleg Version

Like the song goes, "Welcome to the camp, I guess all know why we're here.." Here is a list of what text files are
here and what they're for:

woodstockbootlegversion.doc -- The setlist of what you've downloaded.

officialsources.txt - A list of official cds and videos that you need in order to put Woodstock Complete together.

woodstocksetlist.doc -- The complete (bootleg *and* official cds) setlist for Woodstock with sources and lots of cool information for Woodstock fans and serious collectors.

Inside of the directory titled "complete" is the artwork for the 17 (18 with the data cd) cd version of Woodstock
that you can build at home with the bootleg stuff and the official cds and videos.

----

Two people living in two different parts of the world independently thought of the idea of putting Woodstock back
together. We started working together and came up with something that we think is historical. There are hundreds of
cds with *pieces* of Woodstock, but no one had put together the puzzle of 200 some-odd songs.

Of course it will never be 100% accurate. There are different opinions of who played what and when. And don't
forget the psychedelic state-of-mind that most people were in. But this is a benchmark - its 99% of the story. Even
if you attended Woodstock, chances are you spent some of your time participating in other extracurricular activities.

You can't imagine how cool it is to listen to a 17 cd version (this bootleg version is 12 cds, but if you have all of the
official cds its 17 cds) of Woodstock. From Havens to Hendrix - it takes 2 days of non-stop music to listen to
all of it!

Why did we do this? If Scott and I hadn't thought of this idea, someone else would've eventually done it. I did
the same for seven other other rock festivals - they're on the Woodstock Project site. (Monterey Complete,
Isle of Wight Complete and Texas Pop Complete aren't as well known as Woodstock, but they're no less
a-m-a-z-i-n-g).

I had a lot of fun doing this. In his notes, Scott (my equal partner in Woodstock Complete) lists lots of people
to thank. So many people passed on information to us - without them and without the Internet, there wouldn't
be a Woodstock Complete. The people on his list helped me too and so did Gary, Alex, Andy, Christopher,
Ingo, James, Jeff, and at least 50 others.

I hope lots of people listen to get to listen to this.
