At the time of this recording, the Pixies were playing only small clubs in the Boston area (The Rat, The Bat Cave, Green Street Station, etc.). They have released no recordings but "I'm Amazed" and "Down To The Well" are in circulation among small local radio stations. "If you absolutely are dying to get a hold of a tape, come to one or our shows and talk to the manager", says Ann Holbrook (the manager).
