Traded sometime between 1999-2006 and ripped from my CDRs in 2011. This is the audio taken from a video of the show, which was a single-cam shot from amongst the audience.

The source had a few issues such as micro-gaps between tracks, drop-outs and numerous pops which I have repaired using Audacity and then re-tracked. Some minor pops still remain, but I have fixed the worst of them.

I also decided to extract the audio from my DVD as a comparison, but the sound turned out to be inferior. I did use this source however, to patch a cluster of pops and drop-outs between 6:29-6:40 during Radioactive Toy and for some tuning between the Moon Touches Your Shoulder and Dislocated Day.

The recording itself is OK given the limitations of the source. The instrument levels change depending on where the cameraman was standing but the balance isn't too bad overall. I'm thinking the tape runs a bit fast, but I don't have the ear to fix it. It's especially evident during the start of Dislocated Day.

There is also a soundboard recording for this show which is taken from the very rare pro-shot Delerium promo video (Delerium DELEC PROMO VID 6 UK 1995).

LDB Special Series #23

Hello! Here is a new series from my collection. After the Master Series, here is the Special Series. Out of my 6,000+ shows and radio broadcasts, I have many concerts that were special for some reasons: the setlist, the musicians, the venue or unexpected events. These are the ones I'd like to propose you. Most of these come from my cassettes collection, so they will be released at a slower pace than my Master Series! But you won't be disappointed!

I will try to gather the most unusual things I have in my collection and, as always, your feedback and comments will be my reward for all the work involved in this project.

Prehistoric Porcupine Tree show from the very first european tour. This is a first generation tape although overall quality would be a 7,5/10. But it was great to listen back to some of the oldies, especially for the all-time favourite
Burning Sky. This was the time of psychedelic lights and stage from the band and a very young Steve Wilson. Get it if you don't have this recording in your collection.

The tape ran a bit too fast so I have adjusted the overall speed a little bit, plus adding some basses. Now it sounds improved to my ears from the raw tape. Hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.

Traded some time between 1999-2006 and ripped from my CDRs in 2011. Very good audience recording, listenable but a little distant and a touch muddy. Slight bit of background chatter, but nothing distracting.

This is the same source that circulates from Metrocubo's 1st Gen Tape. I find this one sounds clearer and less muffled than the 1st gen tape, which could be down to some EQ and maybe even a better transfer (from the master?).


- t1, t2 "The Sky Moves Sideways" is split into 2 parts and has a minor cut at the track transition

- Steve refers to the bootleggers before "The Moon Touches Your Shoulder" - "come on, we've seen you bootlegging it, what comes next?!"

- first "The Moon Touches Your Shoulder > Always Never" transition

- t7 "Always Never" dropout at 4:35

- tape flip between "Always Never" and "Dislocated Day", no music lost

- t8 "Dislocated Day" dropout at 0:03, slight tape glitches at 4:05, 4:47

- t9 "Burning Sky" glitch at 3:00, dropout at 6:09, 11:36, 11:41

- t10 "Not Beautiful Anymore" glitch at 7:52, track fades just before the end, missing the "You can be with somebody you like to be with, And just touch their cheek, or hold their hand..." speech.

This a slightly improved version of a recording originally downloaded on Dime some time ago (and not available anymore). The left channel on the original recording was much quieter than the right one so I fixed the levels using NGwave. Also, I made seperate indexes for Is Not and Always Never.

"I traded this show into my DAT collection many years ago; I have no real information on where it came from.  Lineage, as far as I can tell, is soundboard -> DAT (48K) -> WAV."

This a very good early performance by the band. Some of the more interesting moments are a great version of Burning Sky and a performance of The Moon Touches Your Shoulder that is much more similar to the studio take, than the totally reworked live version known from the Coma Divine album. Also, watch out for the hilarious band introduction after Moonloop.

An excellent, nicely balanced audience recording with some background chatter which can be a little distracting during the quieter sections. "The Moon Touches Your Shoulder" is performed in a different arrangement to the previous tour. Excellent show. Audacity was used to re-track.

This is the same source that Thommi uploaded yesterday ( Thanks T ! )  As he stated, there were a few speed problems with it...

  After my own listening i moved all the tracks down one semitone using Soundforge.  I cannot claim this to be exactly as it should be but it is extremely close now...  I used other recordings and my guitar as well to verify the pitch of the recording and Thommi has heard a sample from this speed corrected version and agrees with me...

  This has lengthened the full disc from the original 71 minutes to just over 76 minutes.

  I have not changed anything else at all in this...There is also the original split between song 5 and 6 ("Moon touches..." & "Always never") which is actually in the wrong place but this is the way it was on the original and i have left it that way.

I will post the same speed corrected sample Thommi has heard from "Always never" for you to listen to yourselves and make up your own mind on whether you wish to take this version now.

I am not saying this is a definitive version or it cant be better...i have only done a very simple step towards a correction of the speed, thats all...

I hope you enjoy it.
