*my freind fran taped this.we have since lost contact due to many
moves on both our parts over the years.if my memory serves me correctly
it was a mic in his hat>minidisc.but thats just a guess from the era 
and the rigs he used over the years.

this recording has some minor flaws.noise like his mic being bumped here 
and there thruoghout the show.i was hesitant about seeding this due to 
those facts(unsure of source and mic noise) but decided to put it out 
there anyway.this show is very interesting just merl and his piano
and alot of conversation with the audience.very intimant,if you seen 
gigss at the keswick youll understand what i mean.very small club with 
amasing sound.if your a merl fan grab this and listen then make your 
decision on it.enjoy

A wonderfully intimate show.  Merl reminiscing about his old friend Jerry Garcia, like he was talking
to a bunch of friends, singing and playing beautifully.

I felt very sad listening to this but also extremely uplifted!  R.I.P. Merl, you gave us a lot to be grateful for.
