I'm interested in limited trades (ten shows maximum). I now use Dropbox or WeTransfer exclusively, partiularly to avoid lost or damaged CDRs. I do not accept audience recordings, MP3 sourced music with gaps between tracks, or dubs of commercially released CDs or LPs.
I now only trade with those who have active db.etreedb.org accounts. Solicitations for trades without having an account makes it very difficult to objectively review listings with setlists, personnel and quality ratings for both the music and the trader.
Please view each individual request you make to see if it is on CDR or cassette, along with if it is indexed, if it isn't clear to you, just ask me. If your requests from me are not already indexed and many of them are still on cassette, it will take me longer to complete a trade. I am very backlogged with cassette requests and since I retired from radio I have extremely limited access to use Adobe Audition to index and label WAV files. All files are converted to FLAC files to send via Dropbox. I no longer mail CDRs due to the US Postal Service's numerous lost mailings, especially overseas.
I will inform you of any known defects in recordings I possess. Once I've heard music, I usually add composers/lyricists, correct misidentified songs or supply missing titles, then I'll be happy to share my updates with you.
If you send a trade request without reviewing my trading rules, I may not respond.
