Trading is a great hobby. I think everyone deserves to hear their favorite artist live! As long as these guidelines are followed, the concert experience could be repeated over and over again with no glitches. These guidelines, you will find, are pretty reasonable. In fact, you probably implement them yourself already ? so forgive me if this is redundant! *If the show you are trading has any glitches (i.e. pops, clicks, hiss, etc.) please let me know ahead of time. Otherwise I?ll think these came from a bad burn and will ask for a replacement. By the way - NO MP3 SOURCED RECORDINGS! *The burning process: extract audio to hard drive first, then burn DAO @ 4x. Make sure there are no gaps between songs! *Choose Branded CDR media. I usually use Sony, TDK, or Memorex Black. Lately, from what I have read, TDK and Sony are the most reliable. Therefore, I?ll probably use one of these to burn your shows. DVD: Ritek Ridata, TDK, Memorex Gold, TY. *After burning, take some time to listen to the recording. You don?t have to listen to all of it, but at least find out if it sounds like the original. *Make sure you place the CDRs in paper sleeves ? they?re pretty cheap and you could find them in pretty much any office supply store. *Do not write on the CDRs! *Include a play list with your recordings if possible. *Use a padded mailer or bubble mailer to send out your recordings. *Send via first class mail or priority ? I use priority when there?s more than 8 discs involved because it?s cheaper and gets to it?s destination sooner. *Keep in touch often. Let me know when you send out your discs and when you receive mine. Above all, enjoy the recordings!
