I've been trading tapes since around 1985 beginning with cassettes. I've since accumulated hundreds of cassettes, VHS tapes, DATs, CDs and DVDs. The advent of bittorrent keeps me busy downloading an endless number of live recordings. I generally convert my flac sources to ALS format and archived to DVD-R.
I archive in ALS format (Apple Lossless Coding (m4a) because conversion is very fast, it supports loads of tags and directly imports and plays from iTunes and my iPod. I retain all lineage information from my original sources (i.e., checksums) so that data verification can be performed on all my filesets.
If you see something you like let me know and I'll seed it via BT on easytree.org dimeadozen.org, shnflac.net, thetradersden.org, etc.. I don't have time or resources for snail mail trades, sometimes I'll make an exception for a trade I can't refuse.
