My friend Scott was the only one that I knew who had a DAT copy of it, and he sent me the tape just recently. Since my DAT recorders are no longer functional I sent the tape to Mike in Los Angeles for a transfer. (Thanks to both of you this beautiful recording now sees the light of day!!!!) I wish I had recording details but to me it sounds like a very good FOB audience made with good microphones and a DAT. Flying M Notes: An afternoon show played outdoors as David mentions that the sun was coming out at one point and later references a tent behind the crowd. Levels actually looked good on the tape but there is some overloaded in the loud passages. Nip-n-tuck edits, volume/balance, fade in-out, DC offset, handling clunks-n-bumps, distracting claps and some DAT related scratching noises removed. This set list may be missing a song inside of "Ain't No Way" but I think it was just a jam. mike |
