| Comment | The infamous gig opening for Cheap Trick where the band insults the crowd and venue all throughout the show. Apparently the owner tried to strangle Kim Shattuck after the show. They were kicked off the bill at the Ventura Theatre show the next night too. The mic came unplugged for about a minute and I am sure something outrageous must've been missed, at least because it just seemed so much crazier at the time than hearing it all these years later. I think at some point Kim knocked a mic off the stage and it shattered a glass on a table. |
