AT THE SAME VENUE. I'LL MAKE FURTHER INVESTIGATIONS. SEE FURTHER COMMENTS BELOW. DATE ALMOST CERTAIN 21, 22 OR 23 MARCH 1969 FM through KMPX (USA) This might be a possible reseed or at least part of it. I couldn't find it on Dime however but other sites might have shown it in some form once.... On the other hand it will be a treat(also see CD 1 track 2... :)) for anyone who hasn't grabbed it before. I have 4 versions of the same show, but this is the best and longest with all the stage announcements, which give a more complete picture of that show. However, the radio show as well as the Santana performance is probably not complete. Apart from some Santana Blues Band Rehearsals(available, but unfortunately NOT TO BE TRADED by me) actually the first known Santana recording. Still in the first line up of the Santana band, so no Michael Shrieve, Chepito and Carabello, who joined the band early 69. You hear Santana in its early rawness. The band only performed in the Bay Area those days, sometimes several days at the same venue. |
