Billed as: The Turntable Sessions in Boulder, Colorado feature DJ Olive and Scotty Hard on turntables with Charlie Burnham (violin), Min Xiao Fen (Pipa), Mike iLL (vocals/guitar), Chris Wood (bass), Billy Martin (the host and percussionist) & John Medeski (keyboards). The show originated in collaboration with NYC's EXITART LP Show last July. Each DJ improvises in a duet setting with the other instrumentalists and a final encore of the entire ensemble concludes. This is the first of a series of tours throughout the US and beyond this year. 2 CDs |
