"Headliners" Part 1 - Jerry Garcia
Excellent interview. Jerry seems to be genuinely engaged
in this one. Quite poignant when Suzanne Shaw asks Jerry
how he would like to be remembered.
There are a few nice live perfomance clips - all from
Bay Area shows, from what I can tell.
"Headliners" Part 2 - Carlos Santana
Part of the same excellent program that featured an interview
with Jerry Garcia. This one covers a lot of ground -
Santana's childhood, his early influences, spirituality, Woodstock,
and the meaning of his music itself. This is a fine interview,
with some nice early photos and video clips thrown in. |
