Tech Note | Grateful Dead, 7/23/90, World Music Theatre, Tinley Park, IL, VIDEO: 2dvdr SOURCE: Appears to be Vid Screen/Pro Shot, AUDIO: SBD, LINEAGE: DVD>DVD Decrypter, FORMAT: NTSC, total size: 7.91 GB (shn-dvdr has data for d2 only) (video rates B+ with color sort of washed out, sound A-) --------------------------------------------------- dvd2 may have this as filler also see garcia 3/12/88 for it too - I saw it but have not verified it is the set (this was filler on gd90-07-23 the 2 disk version, it had no reference to what it was so I did some research and contacted a few of our resident Jerry experts to get some more info, there are a couple of great jams after the awards from the 87 bammies. that's alright mama and the interview give us quite a different look at Jerry, and the pot bust press conference is from the incident that gave us the new lyric to TOO "the cops came by and busted me for smilin' on a cloudy day" unfortunately the pot bust pc cut's short, it froze up and had about a half hour of the same frame so that was edited out as were some blue screens through out. I contacted some other's who downloaded this (gd7-23-90 version) from ttd and their copies did the same thing. I'd really like to see the rest of it someday. anyways, I was digging through my archives looking for something else in particular to upload when I came across this, and realized I never seeded it anywhere, enjoy... rjh, reauthored w/ chapters and menu by RJh, artwork by me included in tiff., 3/12/88, Outstanding Guitarist, Bay Area musician of the year - "Don't ever do this to me again", //Good morning little/school girl//, //turn on your Lovelight//, ____________________________________, That's Alright Mama, Jerry Garcia Interview 9-5-73, ___________________________________, //Pot Bust //Press Conference after 11-11-69, some audio dropouts) --------------------------------------------------- DVD1: Set1, Cold Rain & Snow, Picasso Moon, Never Trust A Woman, Stagger Lee, Cassidy, Truckin'> Nobody's Fault Jam >, Smokestack Lightning, Filler: '72 Tivoli, DVD2: Set2, Victim Or The Crime >, Foolish Heart >, Man Smart, Woman Smarter >, Terrapin Station >, Drums >, Space >, All Along The Watchtower >, Standing On The Moon >, Around And Around >, Good Lovin', ENCORE:, The Weight |
