| J-Card Comment | This was my first time seeing King Crimson and I was not disappointed by it. I would go to 4 more shows of this tour called the Elements of King Crimson. The L.A. crowds were the most respectful out of all the shows I saw. I was in the orchestra section, row f, on the aisle of the right side with the right stacks directly above me. This venue also has many small speakers throughout, surrounding all the seats and giving good sound to everyone. I really like this lineup, though these shows lacked the '80s stuff and Lizard. The band was recording themselves, with two mics on a stand at the soundboard, two mics on stage pointed at the crowd on either end of the stage, and a small HD camera on a tripod at the soundboard set to the same angle. I can see myself in pictures from all the shows that Tony Levin posted to his website. Danny Carey was also at this show and I saw him in the lobby afterwards. |
