J-Card Comment | Dan Hicks Naomi Ruth Eisenberg Maryann Price JOhn Girton Jaime Leopold (Skippy Sanchez) Sid Page I got these cd's through a mail trade before the days of lossless. The discs came with limited info. Escondido CA 12/9 70 or 71 based on Dan's "It's my birthday" claim to just turning 29 which would make it 1970, but with Dan's special sense of humor it is quite plausible that it's 1971 and he's 30. Being that Naomi Eisenberg and Maryann Price along with JOhn Girton are in the band I'm going with 1971. My assumption of early and late shows is based on the applause at the end of I Scare Myself, it's definitely give us encore applause. The oddity of an early late show scenario is there are no repeated songs which is unusual. The RR to Cass assumption based on the 2 tracks of I Scare Myself with overlap (early show longer than 45min) then add the partial last show = 90 cass tape. I left I Scare Myself in 2 tracks because I might be off a nano second or so in the splice. In a seperate folder I've included the original tracks 13 & 14 and the overlap area will be easier to find later. |
