A great complimentary set these two gigs. Vastly different setlists on the two nights. Would be nice to see again. Both nights taped by James Angen. I don't know what gen this set is - I would guess low. And beginning a set with 5 instrumental tracks - not sure whether this was done regularly. The Pixies Live Guide (https://sites.google.com/site/pixiesliveguide/) lists Velvety as the opening track, but it does not appear on this recording. Don't know whether it was missed on the recording or whether the Live Guide is incorrect. My copy came as part of a very extensive (100+ cd's) collection of Frank Black and Pixies recordings I have recently acquired from a long-time collector.
