| Checksums | TV Editor note-so we just had the Sabbs end their career at London in Birmingham in Feb. 2017 and some reviews stated an emotional setlist...at best,their set list has not changed at all over the past decade, and in this 1978 show is the only time we get the glorified full version of SYMPTOM OF THE UNIVERSE until IOMMI would tease an intro of it in recent years and yes, we had an instrumental version of MEGALOMANIA in Birmingham...was that perhaps what was meant by emotional? Because loyal fans devoured the GODS OF METAL for whatever they played, HARDCORE fans were never satisfied by their IDOLS, for A LOT OF METAL was LEFT OUT and WILL NOW REMAIN UNPLAYED FOREVER [i.e. WHHELS OF CONFUSION/SUPERNAUT/ST.VITUS DANCE/EVERYTHING OFF SABBATH BLOODY SABBATH INCL. TITLE CUT/EVERYTHING OFF SABOTAGE/SOME SELECTIONS FROM NEVER SAY DIE like JOHNNY BLADE, JUNIOR'S EYES,...fucking SHOCKWAVE!!! man...the concert intro could have been SWINGING THE CHAIN...Maybe a couple off TECHNICAL ECSTASY, a "eh!" album...but it's all over now. We just have to wait for what ol' Oz has up his sleeves. |
