Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will float down The River longer than expected. The group announced Wednesday the revised date for their Madison Square Garden show — originally slated for Sunday, but postponed due to Winter Storm Jonas — along with 15 new shows. While the second of Springsteen’s planned Madison Square Garden shows will occur as planned Wednesday night, the one initially scheduled for Sunday has been moved to March 28. The tour extension keeps The Boss on the road through May, rather than March, and brings him to a fresh slate of cities including Portland, Seattle, Denver, and Dallas. The new leg begins with an added third show at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena, wraps its U.S. portion with two April gigs at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, and ends with a headlining performance at Lisbon’s Rock in Rio Lisboa festival. The latter concert at the Madison Square Garden has been performed on January 27th as per schedule.
