With Special Guest Mike Keneally August 16, 1998 The River Street Jazz Cafe Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania In 1998 I had the pleasure of seeing and filming Mike and his band, Beer for Dolphins for 11 shows and 3 clinics in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, during thier 'We're Not Here To Help' tour. When this date was announced, I knew I had to be there. Of all the filming I did on this tour, this turned out the best for both the audio and video. Great lighting and sound. This was shot from my seat at the bar using a Sony VX-1000 Mini-DV Camcorder and a mono-pod. You will occasionally see the servers walking by as they deliver food and drinks to the attendees. The audio in the master tape for Magdalena is flawed now (drops in and out), it used to be ok. Attempts at a clean transfer using different cameras were unsuccessful. The rest of the footage is clean. Thanks to Mike, Bryan, Marc, Jason, Bob, Thomas, Cami and Scott for welcoming me and making this a tour to remember. On to the show!
