American Journal is a TV program that has aired exclusive NIRVANA content several times, stemming from favorable and close ties to Courtney Love. In this segment, Eric Harder, a producer of this early NIRVANA video shoot, is filmed giving his tape to a grieving Courtney, accompanied by Kat Bjelland. It is unknown whether this tape in a more complete form will ever see the light of day. If so, it would likely be on a future NIRVANA release and not through unauthorized fan distribution. In the segments here, Kurt and Krist mime along with their guitars to the 1.23.88 demo recording.
