| Tech Note | Two sources mixed and sync'ed in Sony Vegas Pro 11.0 (Build 511). The two sources were mixed 50/50 at equal volume then renered as a 24bit 96kHz PCM wav. Further processing (tracking, fades, and slight EQ) was performed in Sony Soundforge 10.0a (Build 425). Periodic loud points were enveloped to allow for more headroom in Normalization (to -0.10dB). | Comment | In what the merch-man, Marc called a "Nick-speriment," the band had the room set up with seats and even little tables all around the front of the floor for people to sit and watch the performance. Nick references this set up at the end of track 7, just before playing "Cold Again" (track 8). The show was good, as Islands always is, and I'm very happy that the band continues to be so supportive of taping. |
