It's originally listed as an A- in my recording list, but after hearing now, I'm only giving it a B quality. Two reasons for that: 1) Sound is too distant; 2) Low frequencies are lacking. I played with fixing it up. But the more time I spent "fixing" it, the less satisfied I became. I knew I would never be able to turn this one into a great sounding recording, so I ended up deciding to put this out rather raw, just as it appears on the tapes. Lineage: AUD> Nakamichi 350 ---> Nakamichi Dragon (playback) ---> Korg MR1000 (5.6 Mhz, 1-bit master tape) ---> Down sample to 96Khz, 32-bit using Korg Audiogate ---> iZotope RX-Advanced (noise reduction, spectral editing) ---> Sound Forge (put the concert back together) ---> iZotope RX-Advanced (downsample, dither) ---> CD Architect (CD Audio) ---> EAC ---> FLAC |
