This show was taped by a friend of mine who borrowed a set of mics from me. It was their first time recording a show with external mics and it sounds really good for a Rickshaw recording. I like At the Gates but didn't want to miss work in the middle of the week. The taper was about row 13, in the centre, on the floor. There is very little audience noise other than applause. Apparently the mosh pit was pretty insane, so there is some movement which can be detected when listening on headphones being that the mics used are omnidirectional, but nothing you haven't heard on a metal bootleg before.

Recording levels were boosted live during Slaughter of the Soul. Captor of Sin was dedicated to Jeff Hanneman (RIP). The band flew back from Japan the day before this show, and they admit to their jet lag. Part of Nylithia was also recorded.
