The 37-stop "Japanese New Music Festival European Tour 2003" made this visit to Dundee as part of Dundee Contemporary Arts' "Kill Your Timid Notion" festival (yeah, confusing). - The venue is an exhibition/installation space upstairs at Dundee Contemporary Arts. The entire room is painted white and the stage was in the centre of the room. There was little or no on-stage lighting but there were projections on all four walls. - The Acid Mothers Temple set was an improvisation inspired by the Ira Cohen film "The Invasion Of Thunderbolt Pagoda", which was being projected on to the walls of the venue. Ira Cohen was also in attendance. |
