| Note | AUD Recording: Note: This is probably one of the most cherished and beloved gigs that ever come out of the 2006-pre-awitc era. Back post Silent Alarm and before AWITC, the lads were still experimenting with the sound and design with AWITC. For those lucky few that got to see Bloc Party in 2006 (before Matt's lung collapsed which had to cut short the tour), they got to experience one hell of magical time in Bloc Party's history, of a sound that was completely memorizing, beautiful, intimate, majestic and glorious. Many fans were critical about the ending result of a number of songs post AWITC's release. This recording stands as one of the few (VERY FEW) that managed to capture some of the old demos of pre-awitc that have touched many hearts of fans, of a time, before the weekend in the city. Short rant, one of the most valuable old recordings of beautiful lost past of BP. Sound-quality wise, not the best (but the most die-hard fans could care less about that). Gig-quality wise: FUCKING EXCELLENT!!! |
