J-Card Comment❗ Zoooma Says ❗ Unfortunately not a good recording. It is listenable but don't try to understand Cobain's lyrics as they are massively indiscernible probably due to the mix not putting them up front enough; they are definitely buried half way under the music. Occasionally guitar chords are nice and loud but the real playing, like the drums for the most part, is low. Is there even a bass player? Is he there? Totally indiscernible. Just an ugly blob of music that seems like bad amplification and you're standing near the back of the room. Between songs it sounds like the mic is close to an air conditioning vent blowing down. Not noticeable during songs but annoying when heard. A bunch of super-rare early Nirvana songs wasted by the sound quality. I listened twice and I'm not eager to ever again listen to this one. CommentThe first Hairspray Queen is stopped during the first verse because Krist is having trouble with his bass. When he gets the issue resolved, the band moves on to the next song, and attempts the song a second time later in the set.
