Last week I went to see German brutalizers Defeated Sanity and here I present the full show. I also filmed British newcomers Scatorgy who recently released their first EP on New Standard Elite (their drummer, Tom Walker gets mentioned a few times on this video as probably their biggest fan). The name of the game is Technical Brutal Death Metal here- although this gig started a little rusty the band nailed it by the end. Small audience on a Monday night but still plenty of fun to watch. About the recording - usual set-up apart from the tripod that I didn't use- the volume was extreme as much as the music was so because of the resonance I had to do the good-old cam-on-the-bag trick that worked well in this case. Audio has been recorded separately and I am very happy with the results. The video got a bit blurry right at the beginning for several seconds and later around 25 minutes but managed to fix it quickly. I think it's going to be a nice addition to all brutal music lovers's collection. |
