| Note | Uploader’s Notes: This is a fresh transfer of another early tape that I recently received from Tape Master Troy. I don’t recognize any of these songs/routines as anything that Biz or Rakim later released on record. If you do - let me know. The performance stops abruptly during the track labeled Rakim vs Biz - as it is around the thirty minute mark and probably where the tape needed to be flipped over ….and wasn’t. I haven’t listened to any of the MP3 versions that circulate - but I know some of them include the pre-party music which was provided by DJ Fantasty, Inc. The tape I got from Troy doesn’t have that on it.
As you may or may not have already put together, Rakim is only 16 or 17 years old here and Wyandanch, NY is the community that he grew up in… |
