Note | Zep Temps #29 - Notes:
Incomplete audience recording. Poor/Fair audience recording in spots but bass heavy throughout. Your Overlord at R-O originally contacted Ed about doing a transfer of his master cassettes then contacted me to do them. Ed agreed and graciously provided me his tapes to transfer. There are no direct digital copies of this recording circulating from the master tapes so this will be the first time there is so. The taper taped over portions of the tapes to reuse for personal recordings erasing Kashmir, The Song Remains The Same, Rain Song and the beginning of No Quarter. The end of Moby Dick and the beginning of Dazed And Confused were also taped over. This is all that is left of this recording. Ed's Notes: I recorded this show with my Panasonic portable cassette deck from the 300s section on Robert's side of the stage. Unfortunately the quality of the cassette deck and the tapes used wasnt very good. Even more unfortunate is that during the year following the concert, I recorded over most of the tapes (I had recorded the whole show) which was quite a stupid thing to do to say the least..... Many thanks to Your Overlord and Weedwacker! |
