| Note | "Stop Making Noise" silver. No specifics for date or venue given on the artwork; it just says "Live in the USA during the 1983 tour". This version doesn't include Found A Job or Slippery People, and it has Swamp in place of Genius Of Love, but the songs and running order are otherwise identical (12 tracks). I'm not sure what this was sourced from, but this easily could have, and should have, been given an official release (a scrapped live record, perhaps?). The sound is flawless and the recording has obviously been mastered, so it clearly isn't just a straight soundboard rip. The 60-minute or so length of the set and the way the crowd noise is edited in between songs reveal that this is probably not a document of a full gig, but it's such a phenomenal listen that I really don't care about it being potentially incomplete. This is so, so good. Any fan needs this without question. |
