Remastering notes: EAC>Wavelab 6(32Float)>CEP2(restore clipped audio small sec on disc1)> Wave Lab(crossfade Kaplan sources,Fades, Levels)>Ozone4>R8Brain(16/44.)>Cdwave IMO, Not the best sounding of SBD's But not bad,Rough mix in Begining,Hissy,NO NOISE REDUCTION Levels alittle hot in spots, Some Rider vocals saturated (could be the Master) There is a mystery around this recording. 1) On the Intro Maurice says"Well New Yorkers,We're here Again" 2)Tamarkin tape out of order W/Tunabase, So is Kaplan tape. 3)Tamarkin Tape incomplete and came from someone close to the band. Kaplan tape ,though generated ,Reportedly came from Casady. The show was either Mislabeled or perhaps made on 5" reels, which would explain the setlist discrepancy.One other possibility, Maurice could have been Fucked Up and thought they were in New York.Both copies came from the inner circle of the Band. In Anycase, It's a good Show. PROBABLY the best from this date. Biggest Thanks To Mr.Tamarkin and Mr.Kaplan. |
