Tech Note | Info File: Run DMC Jaap Edenhal Amsterdam, The Netherlands 1987-05-21 (21 May 1987) 01 King of rock #1 02 Sucker M.C.'s 03 You be illin' 04 Raising hell 05 Peter Piper 06 Walk this way 07 Party people 08 King of rock #2 09 - unknown - (cuts out due to tape end) Legendary first Def Jam hip hop show in Holland: double bill with Run DMC and the Beastie Boys. Beasties have been seeded before, but I don't recall seeing Run DMC here. Six months later, a second Def Jam tour would hit Holland: Public Enemy, Eric B & Rakim and LL Cool J (all three of which I will seed later). All of these were broadcast by VPRO radio. Lineage: FM (master) > Audacity (wav, normalize, track splitting) > xACT (flac) > you I'm digitizing my tape collection, mostly recorded from Dutch radio in the 80s and early 90s. The original tapes will be binned and after seeding I will not keep the original flac sets, so unfortunately I will not be able to reseed them in the future. Enjoy, frankvink |
