Lay Lady Lay 14. Encore Break 15. Stigmata Comments: I believe this is a rare recording; I purchased this cassette at the late, great Atomic Records in Milwaukee a week or so after the show. Based on how close to the show I got this, I can't imagine the cassette is further than a generation or two from the master. The WAV files have been sitting on my hard drive unedited for a couple of years; I finally got around to splitting them up when I noticed that http://www.prongs.org/ministry had no knowledge of audio existing for this show. The sound is good considering how loud the show was and the fact that the Eagles Ballroom has the worst sound in Milwaukee. It's bass-heavy and a bit clipped in places, but very listenable. The cassette split was between Thieves and So What. You can split it to two CDs there, or remove either of the encore breaks to fit it to one 80 minute CD. A note on the torrent: This is the first torrent I've created. If there's anything wrong let me know--I'll fix it. I had a friend do the transfer from cassette to CD, then I split the WAV files with audacity and fixed the SBEs with Trader's Little Helper. I learned after the fact that there is a more efficient way to do it. From what I've read it shouldn't be a problem, but if it is I can re-edit the show with CD Wave. Somewhere I also have a tape of Ministy's 1992 Milwaukee show at the Riverside Theater. If I can find it I'll convert and upload that one, too. Enjoy. Please don't sell this recording (not that there's a market for Filth Pig-era Ministry). Thank you, whoever taped this. |
