I got this tape at the Goodwill I work at along with a Bob Marley 1978 Paris Theatre, London the other day, so I figured I share it here as I see no evidence of this Jane's Addiction show being on Dime in the past. Actually a pretty good audience recording(check thy samples), so I'll asumme it is pretty low gen. The cassette came with a cover and had a pic of the band on the cover holding framed plaques, except for Perry who is holding a bottle of wine/champaign or something. Here is what the back cover says about the cover pic: "Jane In The Garden. Members of Warner Bros. recording group Jane's Addiction receive plques commemorationg their first New York area concert:a sellout show at Madison Square Garden on April 24. The band's current album :Ritual De Lo Habitual" reached No.34 on Billboard's Top Pop Albums chart." They never played NYC before 1991? that doesnt sound right to me. I'll asumme they meant first area sellout of a big arena or someting of that nature. I looked around the net and this doesnt seem to have been circulated, so I guess this was a lucky break to find this recording. |
